i sent my UCAS off on the 9th nov. and i've heard from students on here who sent their UCAS after me, that they have received offers from the uni's i've applied to already

does this mean im unlikely to receive an offer ?

No; it just means you haven't got any offers yet. You'll get them in time, just wait.

Yeah, I am quietly crapping myself too. I sent mine off at the start of December and I have had one acknowledgement, which I'm sure is just standard practise for some universities. I have so many things going through my head, such as: are my GCSE's good enough? Am I the kind of person they are looking for? and is my personal statement good enough?

At the end of the day though, we have done the best we are capable of in our applications and there is nothing we can do about our grades in the past. All we can do now is concentrate on getting the grades we hope for and meeting our future conditional offers! Good luck and don't stress too much!
