    Hallo guys!
I am applying for physics studies in 2011 and I would like to get some reviews about my university choices.

    1. Edinburgh - member of the Russell Group, free education, big city (it would my my favorite)
    2. Glasgow - same there, just a bit lower quality of science studies (as I was informed)
    3. St Andrews - great accademic athmosphere, free education, great student-lecturer ratio, but small town, moreover, this uni isn't a member of Russell group.

So Glasgow or St Andrews would me my insurance choice.

Now I need two more... I have thought about Durham, Notingham, Leeds, Birmingham.... What else? So the most important criteria for me would be part-time employment opportunities (it's equal to the size of the city near uni), study cost, quality of science studies and uni rankings in this particular area in UK. I need short review about my choices and some help in choosing another two unis.

Besides, I need one more thing. Where should I apply: to MPhys or BSc? I would like to go for PhD, so it would be logical to apply for MPhys, but I have heard that it is much more easyer to get a position when applying for BSc. Please, help me to decide...

Thanks for your time and assistance!
