Get the police to join in that'd get a fair amount of attention.

I know, lets get everyone in the world to drop out of uni. That would show the money grabbing *******s. Alternatively, we could all just accept it and move on.

We could actually put proper, valid arguments across to the government and make a clear, coherent case for ourselves. May be just a crazy hippie idea though and probably would never work.

    ****ing socialist scum.

Accept you need to pay for your education and move on.

Its not as if your sociology degree is worth anything anyway.

The NUS have tried and have failed spectacularly at doing so.

You won't win because your arguments aren't worth debating.

how about getting the media to focus on the actual student protests not the chavs partaking in the riots

actively condemn those who have rioted - release a press statement saying we do not condone thier acts.

The rioters have not helped your cause one bit if anything they ahve made it worse

If even 10% of the student population were to send emails/letters detailing our arguments for cuts not to be forced on education, that's a fair few thousand letters they're getting making a clear case. Ofcom have removed shows because of complaints from far fewer people than that.

NUS also encouraged cuts to education, so their failure figures.

Some of these ideas are great but I wonder if they will really be put into action?
