I'm intending moving out sometime after the new year and have considered my options.
Essentially being at home is become somewhat of a hassle and living 10miles away from work and university is becoming costly (time wise because I cycle and financially because in this weather sometimes cycling isn't an option).
I have some friends who are hoping to move out also but aren't students, I have no qualms about saying I have been pretty naive when it comes to finances, I have a job, Student loans, maintenance for living at home etc etc

To the point... I'm hoping to move out and have no idea of the expenses I will be coming into... Obviously i've considered rent, water, heating, electricity, broadband, tv etc but am unsure about things such as council tax or any other unexpected bills i will be likely to come across...
Also instead of moving into flatlets or student accomodation we were considering renting a 3 bed house which overall works out at about £250 p/m rent... just hoping you can give me the heads up on avg bill costs, etc

    Thanks alot =]

If you move into a house with anyone who isn't a student it will be liable for council tax.
