I'm doing my A2 coursework on the fermentation of yeast with different carbohydrates and recorded the volume of carbon dioxide produced from the fermentation of each sugar. Can anyone suggest which statistical test I should use for my results?

    Thanks in advance xx

I think its spearmans rank. Doubt if it will be chi squared, but it may be 95% confidence limits. But you're on a different exam board, so there may be different tests, or you've not heard of some of the tests ive mentioned

Guys, I asked my teacher today, he suggested a test of differences, so I'm doing the Whitney U test. Thanks for your help though!

Sounds like you need unpaired t-tests (or Mann Whitney if your data is nonparametric). Don't forget to correct for multiple comparisons.
