I had tickets to see the Darkness in November last year but they rescheduled it to 7th February. So when I bought the tickets they were £15 each and my friend Vikki bought them and kept hold of them for us.
So we're walking from the train station to college and I idly mention it and two random people come up to me and start bidding against each other to buy my ticket, it got to £157! So I start panicking and saying sure!! Because believe me they are a great band but.....£157? I'm supposed to be saving to university and a £142 profit is good!
So I speak to my friend Gareth and he said that he was going to put his up on E-bay because the ones on there are selling for £200.
We go and find my friend Vikki and ask for our tickets tomorrow when she goes white and says "Oh, I knew there was something to tell you!"
She sold them to her sister's friends for £20

Am getting the £20, however feeling tres gutted at the moment

Always a capitalist.

But she did buy the tickets for you. Next time buy your own, and sell them on ebay.

and as for being a capatalist I've aimed to save at least £300 each month which is hard when you haven't a SINGLE hour of work in a month due to the slow season

No, it was in a good way. I bet you your friend sold tyhe tickets for £50 or maybe £100 and kept the profits herself.

No cuz apparently she did it way back in September/October time after we found out it was cancelled because nobody had heard of the Darkness then...not necessarily true but nobody thought they'd be Xmas number 2
