Getting over people - Impossible?

Not quite as dramatic as it sounds.

Went out with my boyfriend for 3 n half years. He v.recently broke up with me.

We are in a LDR, and I visited him at uni and he told me the day after by text!

Horrible, horrible.... But we've spoken a bit since. and it's been very up and down but not been v long yet.

ANYWAY... my question is, we'll be home for Christmas. Should I see him?...
everyone seems to have a different view and some of my friends have said they don't think it was help.

But we were together so long and to not see him since we've been broken up would be so bizarre. we actually had a good time when I visited him- so going from r-ship to never seeing him would be weird. and we were v.good friends.

Anyone been through something similar? I know it's not going to be fun if I do see him but I feel maybe we owe it to each other?

Any help much appreciated x

Its up to you :biggrin: personally i wouldnt want to as now is the time to move on ... but if your good friends i couldnt see why not :biggrin:

just he may see it as your pestering him and not letting him move on

If he broke up with you by text I'd personally move on...but judging from the fact that you're very good friends I'd see whether he wants to meet up with you or not first. If he doesn't ask you to hang out during Christmas then just get on with your life.
