According to the 'Daily Telegraph', while the NUS was publicly opposed to the cuts, it was secretly urging the total opposite. Is that hypocritical, or what? :

Haha. Not yet! Apparently it's been uncovered by the same team that blew the whistle on the MPs' Expenses Scandal last year...

Well, take it up with the same team that uncovered the Expenses Scandal, then...

So Aaron Porter would rather we were paying a real rate of interest? Then we'd really be paying it back for the rest of our lives, wouldn't we.

    Hypocritical ****.

They'd rather teaching budget cuts of 48%, cuts to grants for students, cuts to grants for the poorest students.... why do more people not know about the NUS's vile behaviour? That's more right-wing than the current policy!
