First ever thread so apologies if I get anything wrong at all!

I have applied to study Avionics/Aeronautical Engineering at 5 institutions (entry Sept/Oct 2011). Although I wanted to study a MEng course, I got ABB at A level and so at some universities only a BEng application is possible:

    York - Avionics - MEng
Salford - Aeronautical Engineering - MEng (Backup)
Nottingham, Loughborough, Sheffield - Aeronautical Engineering - BEng

With Nottingham, Loughborough and Sheffield, I understand that I can transfer to a MEng after the first year (subject to performance). However, what I really want to know is, seeing as 2011 entry is the last year before the introductions of the new tuition fees, would a transfer to the MEng course in either of the above 3 universities require me to change to the new tuition fee standard in my second year??
    Thank you.

P.S. I would love to hear your opinions on my choices etc too!

Bump... Please anyone? Does anyone have any idea?
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
