    Hi everyone

I have my GCSE exams coming up in June, but I'm seriously worried about how my coursework will affect my final overall grades. I'm not worried about how the exams will go just yet, as plenty of revision will take care of that, it's just I fear my less-than-sufficient coursework grades will bring me down from the A* I'm aiming to get.

This includes chemistry, physics and biology where I had to do 2 research and 2 data tasks. I think I have got roughly 2 As for chem, 2 As for bio, but as for physics I fear the data task hasn't scored more than a C or even a D. Can anyone reassure me as to whether getting an A* is still possible with these subjects with an A* in the exam... can I just scrape an A* and still have that grade or do I have to get a high A* because of the awful coursework?

Also, for English Lit and Lang, I think I've got mainly Bs for coursework (maybe an A or two), but I ace the practice exam questions every lesson - could I still feasibly achieve an A* or would A be a more realistic target?

Coursework will be the downfall of me! (Except music - got full marks for that one ) I'll welcome those nice friendly exams in the summer

An A grade would be more realistic for English as coursework is 60% of of your final grade whilst the exam is only worth 40%. If you get a B overall in coursework and you do well in the exams, you can get an A.
