Hey, I just got an email inviting me to an Open Afternoon at Cardiff Uni (Law School) but haven't got an offer yet.

The Open Afternoon is in March so will this mean that I won't get a response until then? As in the Open Afternoon is an interview?

Although, the email does say 'You will shortly be notified of the outcome of your application by UCAS.' I have checked UCAS and there is nothing yet. I am wondering if they do give out the offer before the Open Afternoon then is it a good sign?

Sorry if that didn't make sense, I'm told that I word things badly.
    Thanks.

from my experience (applied twice) congratulations are in order as im pretty sure you have an offer as i received invitations to open days both times and both times received offers shortly after that letter

an open day is not an interview it is typically a day where you have a few talks and a quick view of the dept and the SU , they dont let you see the accommodation but you can just wonder up ...... cardiff is an a amazing uni good luck
