    Hi,

I've applied for a PGCE at greenwich university and found out yesterday that I have an Interview this coming Thursday!! As I'm sure you can imagine I'm really nervous at the moment and feel like I have hardly anytime to prepare! I'm really nervous about the Maths test and was wondering if anyone knows what the level the test is-is it GCSE or Keysatge 2 ?

    Hey,

I have been told that it depends on What age group you have applied for. I have my interview on the 7th january and when i was told about the tests i was petrified, however, if its a primary age group that your appling then it should be numeracy based on that age group.

    But im not 100% sure..

    Good luck.

The maths tests i did, not at greenwich, were all at a keystage 3 level i'd say, just mental arithmetic, working out percentages, long multiplication etc
    eg. 60% of 80
    625 + 385
    948 / 12

I had to do my tests using mental methods mostly, but depending on the uni and the level of questions, some allowed you to work things out on paper!
Hope this helps, good luck! x
