A question for people who has been there, done that.

Common question, I know. But can people tell me what the balance between social and work is at oxbridge? Expecially if you are doing hard (very busy I've heard) subjects such as Psychology, Economics, French, Law etc etc

Is it worth it in the end?

It wouls help if you stated what department and what year you are in

    Thank you!!

My sister certainly spent a lot of time socialising and she read English. However in her final year she struggled to do as much whilst still aiming for a 2.1 but I doubt that is much different wherever you go.

Is it worth it in the end? I asked her this very question after graduation and she said yes. However she also said that going to another top university instead wouldn't have been a bad thing either.

I'm sure it's worth it - but you definitely have to work very hard!

I suppose it would be a dependent on the degree you choose, but the work load is certainly high.
