Any reason to remove Lancaster? Edinburgh's requirement is AAA-BBB which I think it is confusing, do you think they will make me an offer?

Well the only reason I'm saying Lancaster is that I haven't really heard much about the uni itself, whereas the others I know they're quite prestigious.. There's going to be more competition.. But healthy competition, for a better uni

And yes, I think you will get an offer from Edinburgh, presuming your personal statement is outstanding Just try and stand out as much as possible..

Lancaster is ranked 10th overall and 6th for my course on Times, thats why I include it as 1 of my choice.

You don't really want to get rid of your insurance uni, and Edinburgh are notorious for actually expecting very high grades even if their offers are quite low.

Well, what are their entry requirements? And do I understand Edinburgh is also included?

Durham is a great university but it is in the other campus...which you may or may not enjoy as much as the main campus, but its beautiful there!

    Edinburgh AAA-BBB
    Manchester AAB
    Southampton AAB
    Lancaster AAB
    Cardiff AAB

If one of them(bar Edinburgh) reject me is probably down to my personal statement since I got the grades already

I would personally leave out Durham as their accountancy course isn't as reputable as the majority of it's other courses and it is based at the Stockton campus which may be a bit of a turn off. All your other choices are pretty strong but bear in mind that with Manchester you wouldn't be able to apply to their BSc course (AAA) so you would have to go for the BA which wouldn't be as quantitative.

Is there a big difference in Manchester BA and BSc Accountancy courses?

Sorry to hijack the thread but would a BA in Accounting be substantial to get accounting specific jobs? From what i've read it seems more broad compared to the BSc.
