I have a dilema, I was offered to do further maths for A-level, but I am afraid that it might make my other subjects suffer; maths, chem, bio, phys.

Can I get some light? Does FM take alot of time to learn, I love maths but I am scared it may take over my study time and my other subjects may suffer as a result.

Depends how good you are, someone in my year got A*A*A*A*A in Maths, Further, Physics, Chem and Bio respectively. What do you plan to do at University? If you plan to do Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Maths I would take it (and maybe drop Bio). On the other hand if you want to do Chemistry, Biology or Medicine it shouldn't make a big difference.

If you have a natural ability in maths then go for it, it can be hard and some of the concepts appear quite abstract but when they click they just click and it seems simple.

the choice might be easier to make if u know what u want to do at uni..
