I need to do a form of statistical analysis for my dissertation , I have absolutely no idea what to do . my dissertation is about finding out the abundance of MRSA in sea water samples. all the experiments I need to do, dont really have any number data I just have to prove the existance of MRSA in sea water, I am basically testing 100 plates, to find out whether theres a presence of staph then I test it in different concentrations of Methicillin for resistance. I have no idea what kind of statistical analysis to do or how to do it.I heard about the possibility of doing a t test or annova but I have no idea how to do them, please please please can someone help me

Just broke it up so I can read it easier. Right so

Since the outcome it either yes or no. 0 or 1. This implies that it comes from a Bernoulli random variable. This implies that the logistic regression is what you need to be looking at.

Before I can help you any further I need to know that. How do you if MRSA is present?

I should know if MRSA is present when I coat the plates in different concentrations of methicillin . If there is a bacteria grow colonys on the plate MRSA is present.
