Overall in june (presuming I dont need to repeat the papers Ive just done) I will be doing 8 exams - including 4 maths exams.

But lets not forget some schools dont offer the option of taking exams before the end of the Alevel course (2 years). So you should consider yourself lucky not to be doing all your AS and A2 exams come june, and for the first time.

I think I've got 9, so not that many really, but that includes two 3hr STEP papers (discounting Key Skills as I really can't be bothered with it - would have much rather done general studies).

Because I never put my name forward for it and Cambridge want STEP, not AEA (and Warwick will accept STEP). Also, I've got past papers for STEP but not for AEA. Other than that, there's no real reason.

I met someone in Durham who is going to do all of their A-level modules this summer. School policy apparently. Obviously they don't exploit the full benefits of the modular system.
