When did I start secondary school??

Okay this is going to sound silly but when did I start year 7 of secondary school. My final year (year 13) was 2008 so was my first year (year 7) 2001 or 2002???

Nope - it's year 13. Sixth form is 12-13.

Your final 'Compulsory' year of school is techinically year 11....Y12/13 are equivalent to college.

So in Bucks, I managed to pass the 12 exams and started grammar school in Form 2 during the academic year that I turned 13. This is equivalent of starting secondary school in year 8 today. Bucks is weird!

2002 because the difference between 13 and 7 is 6. So if your final year was 2008, then you would've started secondary school 6 years prior to that.

Year 12 and year 13 is college, which is mandatory ,and then after college it's university if we choose to go or not.
