I'm about to send off my UCAS application when i checked my choices to see if everything was right and i see 'invalid course code' for Newport (Graphic Design), i've clicked on the course finder and it's completely gone from the choices, i've even tried entering the course code directly into the box and it's still coming up.
as far as i'm aware Newport hasn't dropped Graphic Design, I have no idea what's happened.

I doubt i can just leave it, as it probably won't let me send off the application without sorting it.

    stress.

    I've got the same problem!

It's not on the Newport Website either...can they really just drop a course like that?

Games Development and something else isn't there either.

I've emailed Newport about it, but since you have the same problem it's probably a UCAS problem, hopefully it gets sorted soon.

I've just had this reply from someone at Newport:

Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer BA (Hons) Graphic Design for 2011 due to government cuts.

The course has had to be withdrawn from UCAS and is unlikely to reopen.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

    It is a bit brutal.
Newport was my 'I will definitely get in no matter what choice'
kind of bummed, but i've sent my ucas off now with a space left just incase it does 're-open' or i find another course.

    Oh that sucks!
    Thanks for posting the reply.

And I just looked at your portfolio. I really don't think you need to worry about not being accepted!!

Just had that exact problem with a different university stopping doing a course! :/

Ugh, didn't enjoy having to find a different university when I really loved the one that dropped my course.
