I've just realised, on my application which was sent off yesterday my BTEC results from a unit have been entered wrong! It says Distinction where it should say Merit!! Have no idea how this came about, please help..should I ring UCAS? will they be able to change it ? Or shall I go to my sixth form tomorrow?

Ring UCAS. They might ask you to send evidence of this via email e.g. scan your certificate to them and then send it via email. You might also have to contact all of the uni's you've applied to but UCAS will be able to give you advise about this.

    dunno
    Then how about not posting?

@OP: If your school/referee hasn't sent it off, they can still send it back to you so you can change it. If they have sent it off, contact UCAS and you can get it changed.

Ok, but I don't have any certificates of my BTEC units? , neither do my teachers! and half of my units are still getting marked as I am trying to get to Distinction level on them! + my application has not been processed yet it says on UCAS, and I have not received any welcome letter..

ah ok, thank you so much! should I inform my school that I am ringing UCAS? or should I just give them a call straight away first thing tomorrow? I also might just ask them to save some units to pending as I have not completed them yet !

O ok I see. Well ringing UCAS is probably the best. I just want to check, are you sue it has been sent from school and that it has not just been sent to you UCAS person at school?

Your school don't really need to know but it can't hurt to tell them. Doesn't matter, really. I'd be inclined to tell them just to keep them informed.

To confirm: Your referee has definitely sent it off to UCAS? It's possible that though you've sent it off, it's still with your referee and hasn't been sent to UCAS yet.

yep I'm sure I've got the whole 'Your application has been sent to UCAS and will be processed shortly. After it has been processed, we will send you a welcome letter and a booklet in the post; they will explain what happens next. Once you have the letter, you can log in to Track at ucas.com to check the progress of your application. Log in with the Personal ID on your welcome letter as this number may have changed since sending your application.'

Yes they can, but why do you need them to? Did you put in grades for units you haven't finished yet?

Ok, then the best thing to do is to get in touch with UCAS and they will be able to help you further with this.
