    i want to be a primary school teacher, and iv applied for childhood studies at uni and hoping to do a PGCE after it.

    anybody else want to be a primary school teacher?

    Lots of people on this forum are training to be one or want to be one or are one. Theres a whole forum dedicated to education and teaching, this thread may be better there.

    I wanted to be one since I was 7, as cliched as it sounds I love working with children and love feeling like im making a difference. I enjoy teaching all the subjects and just love being in the classroom.

    Yeh I'm thinking about it, also applying to do childhood studies at uni. i love young children from when i was babysitting the first time, and now we have some family friends with under 12 year olds and its great. why do u want to become one????

    which uni's did u apply to ?

    i went on work experience at a primary school in high school and i thought it was really good and teaching looks like such an enjoyable career!
    yeah, I have some family that are toddlers and they are great.
