I've been living Roeburn since September, and went home for Christmas today, the trouble is, my laptop won't connect to the internet at home.

I'm using an ethernet cable to connect and it usually works fine, but it must be whatever settings I've changed to connect to UCLan internet that are messing with my connection.

Has anyone had any similar experiences or know how to get around this?

It shouldn't do that. This is the wrong forum. I am going to notify the moderator so they can kindly move your thread to somehwere where you can get more of a better response. This is a computer related question not a specifically Uni related thread.

    Have fun

It kind of is, since only someone using a UCLan University Network would know the settings you would need.

OP - it's probably to do with your authentication settings. Do you use a username/password to log in at home? If not, then just uncheck the first box under the authentication tab under your LAN properties menu.

If you need any further help quote me.
