In most universities ALL biology courses (be it biomed or zoology or cellular biology) are a pick and mix from the same pool of modules. So it's perfectly possible to study the same modules, but have a different degree title.

So yes, you can study exactly the same modules as biomed if you wanted to. Biomedical sciences is just slightly more constricted on module choices, while biological sciences is pretty much a free choice in modules since it's so unspecific. For career prospects it's best to be as specific as possible though.

What it all comes down to is that module choices are MUCH more important than degree title.
