        Ah, don't know then. I'm a bioengineer.
I believe they mostly go into clinical science in the NHS.

There's a LOT of of competition for Clinical scientist trainee posts, I think they prefer a Masters too before you get into the 4 year training job.

People doing Biomedical science used to get a trainee biomedical scientist job in the NHS (if they did a IBMS registered course) but now people are doing a coterminus degree instead to get them HPC registered straight out of uni so you can go straight into a Biomedical Scientist post. Outside the NHS I guess it's research jobs, maybe at uni, or pharmaceutical companies.

I just finished Biomed in December and I'm applying for jobs now. Unsuccessfully. I looked on LinkedIn at some peoples career profile to see how they got to be where they are now (head of labs, etc) and they seemed to start with a BSc, then some got a trainee technician job and progressed from there. I can't remember others but they were jobs like lab assistant/technician if you can get them.

Are you wanting a job in the NHS? Have you finished?
