    None of them are better than others - like most healthcare degrees, optometry is regulated by an external body (the General Optical Council or GOC) and, as such, each course is pretty much the same in content. In delivery, they vary - City get started very quickly on practical work, whilst ARU lay the groundwork more before starting.

    You just have to pick the uni that suits you best, because you'll need to get at least a 2.2 in order to become a qualified optometrist.
