I know with bullet points you shouldn't end them in full stops. But what about number lists?

e.g. [bunch of text followed by a colon]:

    1. I know a girl with a lisp
    2. She sells sea shells by the sea shore
    3. She doesn't like to talk about her job

Ignore the absurdity of the text..my question is, should there be full stops after each line?

I would've said that it doesn't matter so long as you're consistent with the style throughout a piece of work? Then again, I have poor grammar myself usually.

Formally, as with bullet points, you should end each one with a semi-colon and the final one in the list with a full stop. However, this would be seen as picky and I'd advise you not to punctuate the list at all these days, even in a formal document.
