Boxing day sales.

Is it better to go on the 26th or 27th of December for sales? Because some shops are not open until the 27th but all of the bargins will have gone on the 26th.

So what day would be better?

Don't be fooled. Shops are anticipating huge crowds, which means they will reduce their prices by very little since there is no need to try and attract shoppers.

Red stickers and huge 'SALE!' signs does not mean the items are actually cheap. There's also something quite sad about people going shopping (never mind queueing up at 5am) on Boxing Day after all the excesses of Christmas.

You want my advice? Steer well clear.
