I've just finished watching Straight Outta LA, directed and narrated by Ice Cube. I'm not an American football fan at all, but it was a really interesting story about the Oakland Raiders becoming the LA Raiders and it seems not being a Raider of any sort location but the impact hip-hop etc had a role to play also.

TBH, the mentality of the Raiders seemed to remind me of Wimbledon FC, known as the Crazy Gang for their antics and fear trick they used on opponents to spook them out.

Interesting what NFL fans here think about the whole Raiders story?

Also, loved 30 for 30 story on Columbian footballer Andres Escobar, missed the chunk of it when it came on but caught the last hour or so. Moving stuff and Muhammed and Larry was another good one although I kinda got the feeling of what to expect from that one.

I've Sky plussed the Michael Jordan one that's coming on this Sunday about his foray into baseball in the 90's.

    Anybody else been tuning in?

I highly recommend watching 30 for 30 The U. I love excessive celebration in this movie.

They've been great, The Birth of Big Air was awesome, but I do find that that the sports I'm more into are better to watch
