At uni I live in the same halls/flat as my ex-boyfriend. The break up was essentially because he didnt seem to care and treated me like an object and the split was a few weeks ago (we got together at uni)

Whenever I see him I just feel angry and feel like cringing when I think about the stuff that happened.

I'm thinking of moving accommodation, I've had a room viewing at a different halls although its more expensive.

I feel like I'm running from the problem but then I also feel like I'm looking out for my happiness - I really dont like being in my flat anymore.

Don't run away from the situation - it would be like admitting defeat. Show him that your life doesn't revolve around him, and that you can move on too.

If you've got the opportunity to move and don't mind paying more, go for it. Will the uni accept that as a reason to move though? I don't know how your uni works obviously. If you don't move, how about talking to him and clearing the air? Although you're not together you both deserve to be civil towards one another and get on with your uni experience.

You said it was more expensive so I would guess that it's either nicer, more room, or more convenient.
