You're paying for because they figured out the combination and shortened it. SO instead of you asking for :

Large Cheese and Tomato Pizza: £10.99
    +Extra toppings:
    Ham- £1.20
    Pineapple- £1.20

You can just say : "Large Ham and Pineapple, please."

    You're paying for the convenience.

They're probably just careless with their pricing because they've got some sort of monopoly power in some respect.

Anyway, don't order from there - buy a few decent ready-made pizzas from supermarkets which taste better and cost a third of the price. Pizza Express pizzas are an example.

I heard they've got an offer, £8.99 for any pizza, any size.

    Call up your local.

Where do you live? Dominos sell Hawaiian pizza not ham & pineapple. Hawaiian has mushrooms too. In London regular pizzas are 12.99, hawaiian 15.99, and each topping is £1 so you neither save nor gain anything.

This inspired me to order Dominoes.

£30 and only me in the house.

More of a challenge than an enjoyable meal.
