I don't belive in love at first sight because i believe that you can't fall in love with a person without knowing them. If you just look at aperson adn fall in love with them then you are only falling in love with what the person looks like they could be really horrible, then would you still love them? i wanna know what other poeple think.

i met my bf online (i'm not advertising meeting people off the internet) n we knew each other for 3 months before we first saw each other.i love him but not like immediately but i knew i wanted to be with him when i met him in person.

) on the internet.
I fell in love with the second (the one I'm with now) one before I even knew what he really looked like though, so made my mind up on that before 'first sight'. :wink:

I think it does yes.

When i first laid my eyes on a girl i used to work with called Lindsey i new i had to have her, she made me weak at the knees. I asked her out and we went out for a bit but due to certain complications it never worked out!

It's been a couple of years since we broke up now, and i think about her all the time and still go weak thinking about her, i seen her a few weeks ago and the company i was with could tell that this girl was special to me!

I would have her back at the drop of a hat and i will remember her for the rest of my life, she was my first love and i felt it as soon as I laid eyes on her!

I don't think it's very likely because I dont think you can love someone unless you know their personality. I think you can meet people and click with them and really like them pretty quickly but not at first sight and still I don't think it would be love for a while.

Definatley lust, doubtful with the love idea. I'll wait to experience that before I believe it, for me I think I would at least need to hear their voice and know something about them... (infact I think I'd need to know them very well.) Everybody is different tho!

Love at first site is preposterous. Love is based on more than looks. By definition therefore it must be impossible to love someone when you first set eyes on them.

It may be lust, that turns to be love, but the love grows..it isnt just *there*

No - nice idea but how can you love someone based on first impressions?
Lust at first sight, yes, which can then grow into love. Love is a complicated thing but something so deep and meaningful as true love for another person (which I believe partly comes from knowing someone really well) surely cannot be acquired so rapidly.
