I think this is the wrong place, but I didn't know where else to post it.

I was thinking about becoming an extra in tv or films but I've never done this before and I'm aware that there are scams out there. Can anyone recommend any decent agencies to me? Also your experiences as an extra?

Also I'm in the north of England so would be handy to know the agencies around these parts. I've been looking at one called 10 twenty two at the moment http://www.10twentytwo.com/index1.htm. They seem alright!

Any help appreciated. I did try a search but nothing came up oddly

    Thanks!

I typed 'tv film extra North England' into google.com.

Not 'how to become a tv/film extra'.

There are several decent results. However yes, research them first. You want to find a reputable agency to supply with your personal brief.

I suggest calling a few agencies on the phone.

Have your questions ready. Write them all out.

They may ask you questions at your interview so be prepared to answer them too. Just workout what you think they'll want to know.
