    Hi,
I'm going to London with my friends over New Year's Eve. Can anybody give us some tips for some places where we can eat or go in the evening? It would be easier for us if we know something about the city when we go there, especially for New Year's Eve. We'd like like to go to pubs or clubs in the evenings. Please write to me if you know london and you can help me! Thanks!

For New Years Eve, I'd advise that for wherever you go, you book. It's really busy! What kind of things do you want? Do you want to see the fireworks at the London Eye?

What do you like to eat? Edgeware road have some good sharwarma! Like ^ said, it's going to be REALLY busy - Oxford Street is nice when it's lit up, Picadilly Circus too. It depends what you had in mind.

    Hi,
the most important thing is that we want to know a nice pub or club where we can be at midnight. Is it necessary to book a place in a pub? We don't want to be in a very busy place, I mean that we don't want to be outside in the cold between millions of people. Does anybody know a nice place for New Year's Eve?
It would be great, if you could give us some nice tips!

I am staying in London too over New years. I was actually looking at resteraunts yesterday, and believe me and anybody else who says it...book a resteraunt!. I went on so many websites and so many places are booked up on New years eve, that if you dont have reservations you will be queuing for a very long time for a meal. Took me about an hour until I found a place to book..a nice little Italian

I am watching the fireworks on NYE, but there is so much you can do.
There is a website called view london which is very useful, and has lists of what is on, venues, etc. I'd definitely recommend checking it out - it also allows you to book tables for resteraunts.
