This past week I've had a nosebleed 6 times, and sometimes they've been quite bad, other times just mild Just wondering if this is serious? I got a cold yesterday and had a nose bleed, but for all the other times, I hadn't got my cold yet. Is this serious?

Oh and before someone comes along and says that this forum shouldn't be used for medical advice, I'm just after opinions and will obviously go to a doctor if it gets worse!

I'd go to the docs! My brother used to get quite regular nosebleeds and it wasn't a problem, but not as regular as you've experienced!

only joking, sometimes you have a popped blood vessel. my cousin did and he had to have it heated, which sealed it up. he's perfectly fine now i think

That's what my dad had - he had nosebleeds really often too, and had to have it 'sealed' - he still gets them occasionally, but it's certainly nothing disruptive or a problem.

I know nosebleeds can be associated with high blood pressure, but it's much much much MUCH more likely to be a popped vessel - which, in itself is nothing to worry about, and relatively common.

You should sneeze on your bathroom mirror when you have one

OMG, some people write some really bad things on these forums.
Sneezing on a mirror when you have a nose bleed is so not funny.
People want advice not horrendous jokes - What comedy club do you belong to?

I hope that your nose bleeds get better. GP is the best one for advice.
