    Apologies for long post-ish.
I don't know if any of the friends have accounts on here so I will use letters.
Friend A told me last weekend that friend B was going out for a meal for her 18th birthday with friends, which is tomorrow. I've spoken to friend B all week and she hasn't mentioned it at all, I know she might not have been able to invite me due to how many people she could invite but am I being stupid for expecting her to tell me about it? Even if she said I couldn't go? Friend B doesn't know friend A told me about the birthday meal.
If I say something on monday to friend B it will be awkward because I will still have to see her, and I don't want to put her under stress because of exams. But right now I feel like crap for not knowing.
    What would you do?

    - Sorry if it seems trivial to you, but I've been friends with B for years and trust her quite a lot.
    Thanks for reading!

I wouldn't take it to heart, she might just find it a bit awkward if she was unable to invite you and didn't want to hurt your feelings.
