    Has anyone ever walked into a dummy in a shop or something, and then apologised to it? I once did that when I was alone in a shop. Awkward trying to walk away from that one with some dignity.

    I don't say thanks to an ATM machine, I just die a little inside after each visit. There's nothing wrong with having manners, more people should take a leaf out of your book. :pierre:

    I also find I wish till attendants a good day much more frequently than they ever do for me. Politeness is very one-sided in shops :mad:
