In terms of hypocrisy that is.

We seem to condemn Iran’s denigration and discrimination of Gays and women while at the same time forgetting that we do not give full equality to our own women and Gays and are indeed fighting these notions.

Are we just pots calling the kettle black in these issues while hypocritically doing the same as Iran and other countries who we are trying to preach to in terms of human rights?

I think that we are. We do not walk our talk so can we actually expect others to take our advise and lead when we ourselves do not live up to our own expectations?

Can we expect them to change their views which in a sense are more honest than our own?

Are Christians and Muslims world wide no better than the Iranian Muslims?
Are we just hypocrites and homophobes and chauvinists at heart?
    Or,
    Are we just bullies?

We do not stone people for being gay. Ergo, we are not like Iran.

    No, do one leftie.
Go defend another "community", this one has had too much emphasis on it for too long.

There is no collective gay subconscious, thanks to you idiots loads of gays now think there is. It's a joke.

I hate most other gay people, they have too much freedom, shoving it down other people's throats.

Too much freedom, too much liberalism, too much acceptance.

It shouldn't have been made such a high profile thing here...
This might sound a tad ironic, but.. marry me?

Erm...Britain doesn't consider a woman to be half the value of a man. Nor does it execute gays.

    THIS IS THE PROBLEM!?!

    Oh jeez.

Why should I be? Yes, I am "gay", but that does not mean I have anything or everything in common with other people who just so happen, because of biology, to feel an attraction to the same sex.
The gay community is a load of *******s.

There is no collective gay subconscious, no "gay cause", nothing.
    There is NOTHING TO DEFEND.

Considering that the Don't ask Don't tell policy was repealed in america today, I think it would be one of the worst times to argue that western countries are just as anti gay as Iran.

Gay rights in the UK are far superior to Iran, that's a no brainer.

If the only right gays don't possess in the UK is the right to marry, they have it lucky in world terms.

Whilst there might not be complete equality in the UK, no one could argue that there isn't a world of difference between here and Iran.
