Hi, I mainly use this section so I thought I would post it the topic here, seeing as it doesn't really belong anywhere lol.

Anyways, I want to learn French using a book and podcasts, does anyone know and books I can buy off Amazon that will teach me well, any websites or any podcasts?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey there!

It entirely depends on how far along you are with learning French already - have you ever had lessons, or ever tried any learning methods?

Still, I'd recommend the Michel Thomas series as an excellent way to start from scratch or build on your existing knowledge. If nothing else, it's fantastic to build your confidence with the language.

From there, FrenchPod101 is a great website packed with podcasts and videos to help you learn the language, from beginner to intermediate-advanced.

I've never used any textbooks outside school, but I can say that the Expo (year 7 to GCSE) and Elan (A-level) textbooks are pretty good, but not perfect.

    Hope this helps!
