    Hello all!
So, I'm considering buying those schnazzy big headphones (headband heaphones?) that all the cool kidz wear.

If anybody could give advice as to which one's are the best (within a reasonable budget), that would be great!

Oh and prettiness would be appreciated, cos' I'd like to keep my street rep relatively high.

    Thank-you!

I bought Bose QC2's a couple years ago, and they're great...

Buy them, if you can afford them. They're 200 odd pounds.

If you're looking for pretty headphones then Beats by Dr. Dre are sleek as ****. Don't have Skullcandys, they look cheap and the sound leaves a lot to be desired and they're pretty fragile. For sound quality, probably Bose.

If you have good quality music a pair of Ultrasone Edition 9 are amazing!

Rather than blasting concentrated tunes straight to your ear canal like every other high-priced headphone or earbud, these luxurious jam-cans marshal an indirect assault — their decentralized, featherweight Mylar drivers shoot sound at the pinna, the cartilage of the outer ear that collects sound out in the real world. Taking advantage of our morphology, the Edition 9s allow for greater audio depth perception, laying down every nuance of an artful mix. And they don't just sound amazing. Between the Sith-black chrome cups and — get ready for it — Ethiopian sheepskin padding, these pimped-out 'phones look hotter than a stolen Ferrari. The same type of mu-metal shielding that NASA has been using for decades to guard a spacecraft's sensors from interference (yes way) blocks nearly all of the low-frequency electromagnetic radiation generated by the headphones themselves — you know, just in case that turns out to be harmful.

    Sennheiser HD650's :blushing:

But then you will need a good amp to drive them, and probably a DAC too

I'm guessing by reasonable budget you mean £100 max, I'm afraid you won't find many that are good, except for that Skullcandy trash
