I'm not going to patronise the OP.
Whether or not he gets a job is of no concern to me.
If the OP were to get a job tomorrow, I wouldn't gain anything. I'm not going to have to pay less taxes because one more person dropped off welfare.
If you are happy to stagnate, then do so.
Working life is almost never pleasant. I don't feel a sense of accomplishment when I stack the shelves in Waterstone's, or when I insert the last bolt in a forklift frame. I'm simply working to exist, and it's not much of an existance.
I never feel proud when I recieve my paycheck at the end of the week; I find it strange that some people do. What have I to be proud of? I've worked a sixty hour week making someone else rich, managing only to scrape away my measly share of the profit. The little money that I do take away serves only to sustain me until the next paycheck, and the next, stretching into the future until my body is too weak to continue.
The only way one can sustain any illusion of progress in life is to create goals. We save up money so that we can buy things we don't need or visit countries we don't care for. The money is there for a moment and then dissappears, passed on to another person, and so the process continues.
Work is often futile until you find your true calling. I haven't yet found that, so I continue to work to exist.
