In your opinion, what's the edible wonderment you add to anything to make it taste better? Is it as simple as table salt or ketchup? Or do you put cheese on everything? Maybe crispy bacon?

What edible additive can you add to ANYTHING and enjoy it ten times more?

My one? Tabasco. Any savoury dish is instantly made more awesome with a dash of the 'basco!

Green olives- not an additive, but a side dish that goes with virtually anything and makes it :sogood:

Black pepper, not that nasty white powder pepper.

At first I thought the OP was asking about the additives in food and I was going to say MSG.

whipped cream on sweet, cheese on savoury.

honestly, try and think of something sweet that DOESN'T taste better with whipped spray cream on it.

I add cheese to a lot of food. But it has to be red leicester cheese. I don't like the tast of most foods so that has to be added.

Soy sauce or cheese on savoury, or chocolate on sweet.

If you're being scientific about it, MSG.

theres nothing to stop you sprinkling a bit of MSG over your food!

in kenya some restaurants along with the salt and pepper, they'd have a little "flavour enhancer" pot, which was basically MSG... damn i love that stuff... shame its so bad for me

EDIT: looking it up on the net, its supposedly not that bad at all! bloody scaremongering parents!
