Any decent methods which aren't slow that can help me overcome this microscopic *******? I like having the day off, and I know the last week of school I won't be doing much, but I can't really afford to miss any time. Any suggestions?

I take propain tablets, usually eases it off for a bit, depends whether you can swallow tablets well, because I know many who can't.

    Eat ginger

Drink plenty of hot drinks, keep warm and take decongestants.

    Relieving symptoms yes. Curing no.

Sudafed at night. Then staggered Ibuprofen and paracetemol during the day.

Not much you can do really except let it takes its course, I have a horrible throat at the moment (swollen glands, sore throat, losing my voice etc) along with aches/pains, feeling hot & cold but Im just taking lemsip & ibuprofen for it - and getting loads of sleep/rest!

A cold is a viral infection and there's nothing to treat that, you just have to let it run it's course. You could take analgesia and antipyrexials like paracetamol, ibuprofen or even just some lemsip to relieve the symptoms.

Ginger is good too. Also try having some spicy food. Today I had some Nando's and just cooked a spicy veggie curry with extra chillis. Nothing more satisfying and warming than that on a cold winter's night.

Oh yeah and wrap up warm. Might not want to go outside in shorts and t-shirt unless ofcourse you're mad or like the fat bloke I saw at the football match the other day; he was topless for the entire game. Lunatic!
