I was wondering whether there are any other fans of Jungle here; the first was released the year I was born. Obviously there are other better genres out there but Jungle is rarely given the credit it deserves, luckily I've got a dad who used to make me endure hours of heavy bass and high BPM counts.

Do you mean MC Bassman? If so then to an extent I suppose; D&B is derivative of Jungle but I detest D&B, anything faster than 180 BPM and I'm turned off.

I was one 'pon the release of this

I'm a big fan of ****mat, but that is pretty much as far as my exposure to Jungle goes. I'm aware that the scene can be rather 'serious' wereas ****mat pokes fun at the whole thing. Still it's great though. Listen to Killabablyonkutz if you havent already

That's brilliant; I prefer the occasional ragga samples rather than vocals throughout but I like it a lot.

Dillinja worked wonders for Jungle to begin with; ended up helping the DnB take flight and leave Jungle behind though, can't fault him for it really I just regret it happening.

This is heavy; the constant bass and the sampling is sick.
