    and
Whatever People Say I Am... by the Arctic Monkeys

Great choice. For me, personally Pink Moon is Nick Drake perfected.

It was going to be Pink Moon but Riverman from Five Leaves Left just blows Pink Moon to pieces; it's my favourite song.

Pink Moon undoubtedly has some great tracks, but I found that the album, as a whole, was overrated.

For Your Pleasure - Roxy Music.

But I have massive love for The Decline of British Sea Power by British Sea Power, Lodger by David Bowie, Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division and Limbo, Panto by Wild Beasts.

I know it is Marina City in Chicago. I've looked up the back story of the album, and watched 'I am trying to break your heart' - their documentary. Fascinating stuff. Guessing you are a fan?

It's nice to see some Nick Drake fans here! I remember hearing 'Riverman' quite some years ago and really loving it but I never got round to checking him out properly until about two or three years ago and then I totally fell in love with the 'Pink Moon' album. It is amazing how it appears so melancholy yet uplifting at the same time. For me, it is really music to get lost in and I would have to say it is one of my all time faves as I listen to it so much.
