Why is it all the downmarket newspapers...? Watch

    that cover the things like Pride of Britain and The Military Awards? Is it because those things only appeal to people of low intelligence?

    I suspect it's because they tend to be more sensationalist, whereas newspapers like the Times stick to reporting the news (mostly)

    so in answer to your second question - yes...although im sure lots of intelligent people enjoy reading things that might support some of their guilty/less "reasoned" opinions every so often
