Can a BSOD appear because there is a problem with Microsoft ISATAP Adapter?
It won't let me update the software...I get Code 31
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.
Please help...also can I find out why BSOD appears?

When i got BSOD, it happened everytime i would start up my computer,
so what i did is boot in safe mode, and then do a system restore. That fixed it

Microsoft ISATAP is a IPv6 related component. The driver for ISTAP can be reinstalled via Device Manager - Action – Add legacy hardware.
However, if the problem persists after reinstalling the driver, you may need to refer to the following article:
On a Windows Vista-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP adapter appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message
Hope this helps!

ISATAP is used to send IPv6 packets across an IPv4 network. You don't really need it right now.
