Should never have taken the job in the first place. It is going to be exactly the same problem for whoever replaces Ferguson at United. All the big managers should leave it for someone to **** up before riding in to 'rescue' the club.

Not surprised, tbh. Shocking form in the league, and then demands to improve a squad after the team wins a trophy.....

    Fergie is smart though.

He plans to retire when he's midway through a group of players. As in he has fully developed a decent squad that he knows will do ok.

He will also have a huge say in who replaces him and for a season or 2 will be working with them to get them going.

God forbid he dies then yes we will be ****ed.

I'm not saying we will win the title the season he retires but he's planning ahead. That's why he's a legend.

On the actual subject of the thread I'm sure Rafa will be fine. He will have a lot of money in the old bank from Liverpool days and Inter will of handed him a nice little severance package. Don't give a damn where he goes next. Long as he doesn't come to united.
