Hi im currently a foundation year engineering student studying at oxford brookes university, what i hope to acheive by the end of this year is entry onto mechanical engineering undergraduate course, now the problem i face is that oxford brookes have gauranteed us a place on their mechanical engineering course next year provided that we obtain an overall pass percentage of 60% in our first year, this i believe is well within my reach, however i was hoping to transfer to another university at the end of this year and have had some emails back from other various universities in regards to my interest such as Aston, Leicester, sussex, city uni london, UWE. The other problem which i face is that i have to apply to these other universities via UCAS now if i applied through UCAS what would happen is i would lose my gauranteed place with oxford brookes next year and in a way rely on getting a place from my choices therefore i may run the risk of possibly getting rejected which would mean i have no place at all next year, can someone please help and give me some advice on what i should do ????

Thank you for taking the time to read

    Kind Regards
