hi...im on the aqa exam board and taking unit 1 in january
i find it best to either read over a text book to learn the basic facts like compsite demand, joint supply, labour productivity ect.

since we also have 25 marks worth of multiple choice...you cannot beat past papers. look too see wat the answers are cos they always ask the same thing every year...M.C questions are near enough the same every year but re worded
the define questions are easy 5 marks with about 4 sentences for definition and example

on the whole, just read over examiner reports and mark schemes to see what they look for, try a few shorter eassay questions, practice diagrams and learn the theory.

straightforward subject but the wording of questions and the essay layout is where the marks are

Definitions, mark schemes, the rest is just common sense

Make sure you know how to define aggregate demand, unlike me in the mock we just did *cough*

In my opinion most of economics revision should be past papers, past papers and past papers!! I would say about 70-85% time spent on past papers and the rest on covering bits and bobs of the syllabus... this is my opinion on AS Economics as most of it is common sense, but for A2 levels I would recommend a bit more on making sure you understand all the parts of the syllabus as there is a bit of a synoptic aspect in the A2 papers.
