    Hi,

I hate t tests i don't understand them at all

I've somehow managed to do one and i've got t= -5.92... does this mean the result is significant?
Please put me out of this misery

    Thanks in advance

It is dependent on other things as well.

What is the alpha level and is it a one tailed or two tailed test?
What is the degrees of freedom?

Anyway, t=-5.92 sounds like it will probably end up being significant.

a t value that extreme will inevitably be significant.
